A New York Times journalist says he was targetted by security forces in a helicopter while filming footage about the protests in Bahrain.
Michael Slackman was covering a march of hundreds of mourners who were close to Pearl Square in the capital Manama, which had been the scene of a crackdown a day earlier.

He remains unhurt but the latest reports suggest the army then fired indiscriminately at the crowds in the square, though it remains unclear whether they used rubber bullets or live fire.
