I'm off shortly to Harrods to report on the shop's new 'Harrods Gold Bullion' initiative.
The famous London department store has added gold bullion to its merchandise line. It's joined up with Swiss refiner Produits Artistiques Metaux Precieux (hence my trip to Harrods to report on the story for World Radio Switzerland) to offer to customers gold bars weighing 12.5 kilograms each - at current gold prices that makes each bar worth nearly half a million US dollars.
I'll report back here later with some audio and pictures from the store.
